Lots of uncommon dishes on their menu. I tried their bun mam, not very flavorful and a bit bland. Very thick cuts of eggplant and skinny cuts of pork. My wife got the mi vit tiem. Salty but good. Juicy duck. The place is very low frills. Not the cleanest bathroom and order service was fragmented despite 4+ people behind the counter. There was one waitress and one bus boy. Food was very fast. Card accepted. Some ready to go dishes like xoi and bo bia. Not busy at all for a Sunday lunch.

This hidden gem is a staple to the neighborhood. In the mornings, y'all see many people coming in for a quick grab and go breakfast, snack, or lunch for work! Cafe Saigon has amazing banh mi where the baguette is toasted and the fillings are so fresh! Service is always quick! This is a spot you go for a quick bite or just to get a meal to go!

Go to spot in north Philly. Always love myself a good banh mi sandwich these have extra meat + extra pate

Best Banh Mi sandwich in Philly. I have been buying them for years. It was $2.50 around 20 years ago and now is up to $5.

Hands down, one of the best banh mi in Philadelphia. This is purely a banh mi review. And only a review of their traditional Vietnamese lunch meat banh mi, as that is all I've had. But I've had it many times and always get the same thing as it's so damn good! Go in and order on the spot. No need to call as they prepare the sandwiches lightning fast. Roll is fresh and crisp yet fluffy always. Toasted prior to filling with viet mayonnaise, a great homemade pate, really good head cheese, juicy Vietnamese ham/pork roll. Sweet , crunchy pickled daikon and carrot, cucumber spear and Spicy jalapeño kick. It's just...perfect

Have been eating here for probably 4-5 years now at this point. Broths consistently on point, great portions, tender meats, fair price, and viet snacks at the counter to take to work for lunch! I have yet to be disappointed here. Our go to orders are Roast Pork Egg Noodle soup (add a wonton of course), Hu Tieu Mi Tho (minus squid), and Hu Tieu Ga. All amazing every time

One of my fave go-to places for Vietnamese food is Cafe Saigon! Got the marinated grilled pork vermicelli with a crunchy egg roll. This dish is topped with fresh herbs, pickled vegetables, and crushed peanuts that's served with a side of fish sauce. We call this delicious colorful bowl bún thịt nướng chả giò.

The C S is a neighborhood restaurant located in the Adam's Plaza shopping mall, a very busy strip mall located on Adams Avenue, conveniently located right off of the Roosevelt Boulevard. The restaurant has some really authentic, and delicious Vietnamese food. MDW, and I stopped in for a quick lunch and we both ordered Bahn Mi's with roasted pork, an order of summer rolls, and some pork fried rice. The Bahn Mi's were very good, as were the summer rolls. The pork fried rice had some little diced sausage mixed in which was a nice touch. My cold Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk was good but could have used a lot less ice which took up most of the glass... All and all Cafe Saigon is a good place to satify your craving for some good Vietnamese food.
